Fars News: "US Responsible for all Deviations, Destructions"

That's why we won the Big Satan Award for three years in a row:
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri held the Untied States responsible for the existing destructions and deviations in the world, and called on the Asian states to adopt a strategic decision about West's efforts in the region.

Addressing the 7th Conference of the General Assembly of Association of Asian Parliaments for Peace (AAPP) here in Tehran on Sunday, the Lebanese top legislative official said Iran could act as a powerful base in the world.

He further called on the Asian countries to condemn the Zionist regime's brutal crimes in its war on Lebanon, and reminded that Israeli army has made utmost efforts to destroy his country, adding, "During the Israeli war on Lebanon, Zionists did whatever they could within their possibilities to eradicate Lebanon and that's why they destroyed our infrastructures."

The official described captivity of two Israeli soldiers as an excuse, and stressed that Israeli aggression against Lebanon has been a premeditated plot, reminding that the Zionist regime had already launched similar attacks on Lebanon on different occasions.

"Although Israel is seeking to revenge our country and people, it has never succeeded in forcing us into withdrawal from our stances," he stated.

Berri also pointed out that the Israeli army has so far violated Lebanon's airspace over 2000 times, and criticized the UN Security Council for its inaction in this regard.

He said, "The Untied States has violated all international treaties by supporting the Zionist regime's aggressions," mentioning that all international pacts and treaties stress the need for supporting human lives and rights.

He described Asia as the main target of the West's expansionist policies, and underlined that all the crimes being committed in Asia are carried out by the United States and British state imperialism.

The Lebanese top lawmaker called on the participants in Tehran conference to voice support for the reconstruction of his country and condemn the United States' expansionist policies in the region.

To end his words, Berri appreciated Iran's aids and supports extended to his nation, and said that Lebanese may never forget Iran's assistances and aids during the Israelis' 33-day invasion of Lebanon.
